Mother to a big ship is no easy fob.
As Mrs. Louise B. Teed will tell yous. She has that type of position on one of the large passenger boats running between Detroit and Duluth on the Great Lakes and has under her wing 500 passengers weekly. Mrs. Teed makes it a practice of greeting every newcomer on chipboard personally, thus assuring all of a welcome. She supervises the socials on board, makes sure that everybody meets, that youngsters do not ruin the dance or that boys and grils do not become too hilarious. The Job really that of a hostess, calls for the abilities of trained diplomat.
