Miss Katrinka Van C. Suybam wearing the costume 'the spirit of the north' which she designed in honor of Miss Sonja Henie, Olympic figure skating champion. The costume consists of a velvet circular skirt, black sleeveless blouse of caracul fur, black beret, black hose, black boots with white fur tops. It will be worn by the society 'cigarette girls' of which Miss Suydam is chairman, at the ice carnival to be held at Madison Square Garden January sixth.
